KEN DANIELS is at the Dept. of Social Work, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. His major teaching area is the principles and practice of social work and he teaches this in both the Diploma and Certificate courses. His major research interests focus on the psychosocial aspects of assisted reproduction - donor insemination, in-vitro fertilization and surrogacy. Ken has carried out his research in the UK, Australia, Sweden and New Zealand and has been used by several overseas Governments, or government bodies as a consultant on policy development in this field. He has a BA in Sociology from Canterbury, and MA (Hons) in Psychology from Massey and Diplomas in Social Work from the Universities of London and Wales.
